Estimated food allergy across Europe
The EuroPrevall Study was a collaborative multi-centre study of research institutions from 9 countries in Europe. They were chosen to give a good geographical spread across Europe to assess allergy prevalence.
The regions were Nordic (Reykjavik, Iceland), Maritime (Amsterdam, Netherlands and Southampton, United Kingdom), Central Europe (Berlin, Germany; Lodz, Poland and Vilnius, Lithuania) and the Mediterranean region (Madrid, Spain; Milan, Italy and Athens, Greece).
Initial results show that food allergy rates differ across Europe.
